Fusion Free Deburr
Free 3-axis deburring toolpaths for Autodesk Fusion. Select edges, choose a ball or lollipop end mill, set the edge-break width, and generate.
Prototype and short-run CNC milling
I'm Jacob. I quote, program, cut and inspect the parts myself. If a feature will drive the cost up, the quote says so before you pay.
I mill prototypes and short runs from your STEP file and PDF drawing. Your emails go to me, the person at the machine.
Send the job through them and I will cut it. Otherwise send it to me directly.
One email thread, from the first file to the shipment.
Use the form or email me. Attach the STEP file and PDF drawing, and add quantity, material, finish and the date you need parts if you know them.
I check manufacturability on the same thread and send a quote with a lead time for the job. You approve the quote, then I schedule the cut.
I program, fixture and run the job, then check the critical features against your drawing.
Parts leave deburred and packed. When the design changes, send the new files. Saved setups and programs make the next quote and cut faster where they still fit.
By day I am a software engineer on production systems. At night I am in the shop programming, fixturing and cutting parts.
I wrote Fusion Free Deburr and cnckit because I wanted them on my own machines. The code is at github.com/jkkicks (opens in new tab).
Each software project is quoted before I start. I clean up apps built with AI tools, write shop automation and internal tools, and review code. Deliverables come in writing.
Also called a vibe code cleanup. You shipped fast with an AI tool and now logins and permissions worry you. I read the repo, fix what is dangerous and write a handoff doc so the next developer can pick it up.
LinuxCNC automation, Fusion add-ins and post tweaks, job queues, machine monitoring, and integrations between your machines and the rest of your business.
TypeScript or Python, tests on the paths that matter, Docker if you want it. New apps start from my Remix + Drizzle template (opens in new tab).
A fixed-scope review of a repo, an architecture or a contractor's work. You get a written report ranked by risk, with concrete fixes.
You get the fixes, tests that run automatically on every change, and a short doc on how it works and what is still worth doing.
Free on GitHub. Two are mine and one is a fork. Bug reports and pull requests are welcome.

A modular Python framework for job queues, scheduling and simulation around LinuxCNC. The core has no dependencies.

A STEP file and a PDF drawing with tolerances and callouts, plus quantity, material, finish and the date you need parts. Fusion F3D or DXF is fine if that is what you have. With only a model, send it and I will ask which features matter. The form takes up to 6 files, 20 MB each, 40 MB total. Larger files can go to jacob@zonumprecision.com.
I reply to every request, usually within a day or two, with a quote and a lead time for that job. The lead time depends on the job, so each quote states its own.
Yes. A quantity of one is normal.
6061 and 7075 aluminum, steels, stainless, brass, Delrin / acetal and UHMW. Edges are broken here. Anodize and bead blast go to outside shops I have used on my own jobs. Something else? Ask.
Tolerance depends on the feature, material and size. The quote lists the callouts I can hold and any I would change.
Either works. Use Subtract if your company already buys there.
Yes, for parts or software. Send it before you share files and I will review it first.
Usually a fixed-scope audit first. Cleanup and build work is then quoted per project with clear deliverables. To quote, I need a repo link or a short description of the stack, what is broken or risky, and any deadline.
Yes. I audit it first, fix the auth and security problems I find, and write a handoff doc.
Use the form or email jacob@zonumprecision.com. Both reach me.
